Práce je dělena do dvou částí. První část se zabývá vymezením základních prvků Islámu, především pak předpisů, které jsou závazné pro každého muslima. Druhá část vykresluje situaci v České republice. Představuje muslimskou obec, její stručnou historii a také činnosti, kterými se zabývá. Abstract:
The thesis is divided into two parts. First part deals with the definition of basic elements of Islam, especially of obligatory rules for all Muslims. Second part depicts the situation in the Czech Republic. It presents the Muslim community, its brief history and activities in which the community is engaged.
