Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce Základní analýza špičkových společností působících v IT sektoru je provést hloubkovou finanční analýzu společností vybraných v IT sektoru (Microsoft Corporation, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd a Apple Inc) a formulovat investiční doporučení založená na výsledcích fundamentální analýzy a poradenství vedení společnosti při zlepšování finančních ukazatelů. Nejprve je v úvodní části podrobně definována metodika fundamentální analýzy a jsou jasně uvedena data výzkumu. V části 2 jsou diskutovány makroekonomické faktory a výhled odvětví. Finanční analýza vybraných společností se provádí pomocí poměrové analýzy v části 3. V části 4 se na vybrané společnosti používají základní nástroje a metody pro výpočet skutečné hodnoty společností. Na konci části 3 a části 4 je možné najít částečný závěr o každé společnosti. Závěr poslední části tvoří doporučení pro investory, které technologické akcie zaujaly.

Abstract:

The objective of the master thesis Fundamental analysis of the top companies operating in the IT sector is to make a deep financial analysis on companies chosen operating in the IT sector ( Microsoft Corporation, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, and Apple Inc) and to formulate investment recommendations based on fundamental analysis results and give advice to the management of the company for the improvement of financial indicators. Firstly, in the introduction part, fundamental analysis methodology is defined in detail, and the research data is clearly indicated. In part 2, Macroeconomic factors and the industry outlook are discussed. Financial analysis on the selected companies is done using ratio analysis in part 3. In part 4, Fundamental tools and methods are applied to the selected companies to compute the intrinsic value of the companies. At the end of part 3 and part 4, it is possible to find partial conclusion on each corporation. The last part conclusion consists of the recommendation for investors who are intrigued by tech stocks.
