Tato magisterská práce extrahuje a analyzuje charakterové rysy vlivných ženských postav z vybraných krátkých příběhů napsaných americko-britským spisovatelem Henry Jamesem. Tyto rysy jsou posléze vzájemně porovnávány s cílem určit, zda vyplyne vzor, který by spolu propojoval většinu různých postav z různých příběhů. This master’s thesis extracts and analyses character-traits of influential female characters appearing in selected short stories written by the American-British writer Henry James. These traits are then compared to one another with the goal of determining whether a pattern emerges among them that would connect the majority of different characters from different stories together.
