Determination of selected parameters for energy drinks

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je literární rešerší zabývající se energetickými nápoji. V úvodní části práce je popsána obecná charakteristika energetických nápojů, jejich historie a legislativa. Další část práce je zaměřena na dostupnost energetických nápojů na českém trhu, jejich výrobu a jednotlivé suroviny používané k výrobě. V bakalářské práci jsou dále popsány přírodní alternativy, které se využívají pro výrobu energetických nápojů, mezi které patří ženšen pravý, guarana, cesmína paraguayská, ginkgo biloba či kolovník lesklý. Poslední část je věnována fyzikálním a chemickým metodám používaným pro analýzu jednotlivých složek energetických nápojů, jako je stanovení sacharidů, organických kyselin, vitamínů, alkaloidů, antioxidantů, aminokyselin, inositolu a glukuronolaktonu

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is a literary research devoted to energy drinks. The introductory part of the thesis describes the general characteristics of energy drinks, their history and legislation. Next part of the work is focused on the availability of energy drinks on the Czech market, their production and individual raw materials used for production. The thesis further describes natural alternatives that are used for the production of energy drinks, which include Panax ginseng, Guarana, Ilex paraguariensis, Ginkgo biloba and Cola nitida. The last part is devoted to the physical and chemical methods used for the analysis of individual components of energy drinks, such as the determination of carbohydrates, organic acids, vitamins, alkaloids, antioxidants, amino acids, inositol and glucuronolactone.
