Saving of cultural heritage using accommodation-restaurant services

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on the preservation of the cultural monuments on the territory of Slovak Republic and its subsequent contribution to tourism. Examination of the object of my work is a mansion in a village Horné Lefantovce in Slovakia. In this paper I analyze the situation of this particular monument, and also some similar objects that have undergone extensive renovation and now is the jewel of their region. I developed a proposal for the improvement and reconstruction of this object. This project includes a series of actions that lead to the restoration of this monument. Therefore I submit proposal that includes an analysis of strengths and weaknesses, and the opportunities and threats, which the operation will be confronted with. I also found out how to fund the project. The aim of this thesis was to consider the current state of cultural monuments in Slovakia and by using accommodation-restaurant services save this property and put it into the public consciousness. The work is divided into three central chapters and contains seven schedules. The first chapter is devoted to definitions of basic concepts of my work and there can be also found the history of cultural monuments in Slovakia. In the next section, I decided to analyze the competition of the one from the objects on the market, selected by me. The final chapter deals with the solving of the business plan for this object. The solution of the issue is the conversion from the cultural monument on the accommodation- restaurant services.

Abstract:

Práca sa zameriava na záchranu kultúrnej pamiatky na území Slovenskej republiky a jej následný prínos v cestovnom ruchu. Objektom skúmania mojej práce sa stal kaštieľ v Horných Lefantovciach na Slovensku. V práci analyzujem situáciu tejto konkrétnej pamiatky a zároveň podobných objektov, ktoré prešli rozsiahlymi rekonštrukciami a momentálne sú klenotom svojho regiónu. Vypracovala som návrh na zlepšenie a zrekonštruovanie tohto objektu. Projekt obsahuje súbor krokov ktoré vedú k obnoveniu tejto pamiatky. Predkladám preto návrh ktorý okrem iného zahŕňa analýzu silných a slabých stránok a príležitostí a hrozieb, ktorým pri prevádzke bude treba čeliť. Zároveň som zistila akým spôsobom je možné projekt spolufinancovať. Cieľom záverečnej práce bolo zhodnotiť súčasný stav kultúrnej pamiatky na Slovensku a s použitím reštauračno- ubytovacích služieb tento objekt zachrániť a dať do povedomia verejnosti. Práca je rozdelená do trochu ústredných kapitol a obsahuje sedem tabuliek. Prvá kapitola je venovaná definícií základných pojmov z ktorými sa budem v práci stretávať a zároveň histórií kultúrnych pamiatok na Slovensku. V ďalšej časti som sa rozhodla analyzovať konkurenciu mnou vybraného objektu na trhu. V záverečných kapitolách sa zaoberám samotným riešením podnikateľského zámeru pre tento objekt. Výsledkom riešenia danej problematiky je premena kultúrnej pamiatky na reštauračno-ubytovacie zariadenie.
