Tato práce je zaměřena na přímou volbu prezidenta v parlamentních systémech, pro které je typičtější nepřímá volba prezidenta. Práce se zabývá možnými pozitivními, či negativními průvodními jevy, vzhledem k přímé volbě prezidenta a vzhledem k použitému volebnímu mechanismu.
