Three arias of Peregrinus Gravani from musical collections of the Department of the History of Music of Moravian Museum

Abstract:

Anotace Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je vytvoření edice tří rukopisných árií Aria, Ave Regina a Offertorium pro omni festivitate skladatele Peregrina Gravaniho, které by umožnily jejich praktické provozování. Árie jsou nyní uloženy v Moravském zemském muzeu, v oddělení dějin hudby. Jsou zachované v hlasových partech a v práci budou spartovány s pokud možno co nejmenšími zásahy do rukopisného originálu. Veškeré zásahy budou uvedeny v ediční zprávě. Součástí práce bude také shrnutí dosavadních poznatků o životě skladatele, výběrová analýza skladeb, katalogizační záznamy a incipity.

Abstract:

Annotation The main aim of this bachelor thesis is a creation of an edition of the three manuscript arias Aria, Ave Regina and Offertorium pro omni festivitate of the composer Peregrinus Gravani, which could enable their practical operation. Arias are now stored in Moravian Museum, in the Department of the History of Music. They are maintained in voice parts and they will be written in the score in this thesis with as small interventions to the manuscript as possible. All this interventions will be listed in a publishing report. This thesis will include recapitulation of the current knowledge of composer’s life, selection analysis of the compositions, cataloging reports and incipits.
