Construction of shopping centers and their influence on the development of the city Liberec

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce ?Výstavba obchodních center a jejich vliv na rozvoj města Liberec? je komplexní zhodnocení vlivu výstavby center na rozvoj města Liberec. Úvodní část diplomové práce je zaměřena na charakteristiku města z geografického, demografického, ekonomického a sociálního pohledu. Jsou zde definovány pojmy maloobchodu, obchodních a nákupních center, jejich členění a vývojové tendence v různých kontinentech světa zejména v České republice. Práce je především zaměřena na nákupní centra v Liberci, jejich výstavbu ve městě a zjištění vlivů na jeho rozvoj. V praktické části diplomové práce je popsán provedený rozhovor s hlavními aktéry při výstavbě nákupních center a jejich zhodnocení na výstavbu nákupních center v Liberci. Jsou to představitelé developerské společnosti, Magistrátu města a architektů. Poslední část je zaměřena na zhodnocení dopadu realizace nákupních center ve městě. Průzkum byl proveden formou dotazníkového šetření a zjištění názorů lidí žijící ve městě. Závěr práce shrnuje poznatky získané sběrem dat a rozhovory.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis ?The construction of shopping centers and their influence on the development of the town of Liberec? is a comprehensive assessment of the impact of the construction centers on the development of Liberec. The introductory part of this thesis is focused on the characteristics of the geographic, demographic, economic and social perspective. There are terms defined retail, commercial and shopping centers, their structure and trends in various continents of the world especially in the Czech Republic. The work is mainly focused on shopping center in Liberec, their construction in the city and determines its effects on development. In the practical part of the thesis describes the interviews with key players in the construction of shopping centers and their appreciation for the construction of shopping centers in Liberec. They are representatives of developers, architects, and City Hall. The last part focuses on implementation evaluation of the impact of shopping centers in the city. The survey was conducted through a questionnaire survey findings and opinions of people living in the city. The conclusion summarizes the lessons learned from data collection and interviews.
