Cílem této bakalářské práce je vytvořit jasný a srozumitelný přehled o vztazích a spolupráci Plzně a Spolkové republiky Německo. Za pomoci rešerše nejen české ale i německé literatury a zdrojů, informací a podkladů analyzovat vývoj historického, kulturního a sociálního propojení a spolupráce mezi Německem a Českou republikou, především Plzně a jejího okolí.
