Abstract:
Práce popisuje vznik a význam geopolitické teorie Alexandera de Severského. Dále se zaměřuje na to, jaký vliv měla tato teorie na bezpečnostní politiku Spojených států amerických v období bipolární konfrontace. Zároveň zkoumá i bezpečnostní politiku USA vůči oblasti Arktidy.
Abstract:
The thesis describes the origin and significance of Alexander de Seversky's geopolitical theory. It also focuses on the influence of this theory on the security policy of the United States of America in the period of bipolar confrontation. It also examines US security policy towards the Arctic region.
