Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je oboznámenie sa so základnými pojmami, ktoré sa týkajú bankovníctva. Prvá kapitola je zameraná na bankovníctvo ako celok, na bankový systém, sektor a bankovú sústavu na Slovensku, zároveň sa dotýka stručne histórie bankovníctva i typológie bánk.
