Business Valuation

Abstract:

Úvod diplomové práce se zaměřuje na obecnou problematiku oceňování a je zde uvedena zejména základní terminologie z oboru oceňování. Další část práce už je věnována přímo teorii oceňování podniků. Jsou zde opět uvedeny základní pojmy z této oblasti, předpisy podle kterých se podniky oceňují a postupy používané při jejich oceňování. Teoretická část práce je zakončena pasáží věnovanou finanční analýze a jednotlivým oceňovacím metodám. Praktická část diplomové práce se zabývá již konkrétním oceněním podniku Česká pošta, s.p.. V této části práce jsou uvedeny obecné, účetní a finanční informace o tomto konkrétním podniku, je zpracovaná jeho finanční analýza a v závěru práce je samotné ocenění tohoto podniku. Závěrečná část diplomové práce shrnuje, porovnává a vyhodnocuje výsledky celého procesu ocenění.

Abstract:

The introduction of the thesis focuses on the general issue of valuation and it mainly includes general terminology from the field of valuation. The following part of the thesis deals in particular with the actual theory of business valuation. Again, basic terms from this field, valuation regulations for valuation of enterprises and procedures which are used for valuation are listed here. The theoretical part of the thesis is concluded with a section that covers the topic of financial analysis and individual valuation methods. The practical part of the thesis deals with the specific valuation of the company Česká pošta, s.p. General, accounting and financial information regarding this particular company are stated here, its financial analysis is elaborated and the actual valuation of the company is listed in the conclusion of the thesis. The final part of the thesis summarizes, compares and evaluates the results of the entire valuation process.
