Communication skills of pupils with severe disabilities

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem „Komunikační schopnost u žáků s těžkým zdravotním postižením“ řeší, jakým způsobem zasahuje těžké zdravotní postižení do řečového vývoje jedince a jak se toto postižení odrazí v komunikační schopnosti. Uvedeny jsou možnosti logopedické intervence v České republice, její specifika pro žáky s těžkým mentálním postižením a těžkým tělesným postižením a nabídka vzdělávání žáků s těžkým zdravotním postižením se zaměřením se na rozvoj v oblasti komunikace. Pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu byl sledován rozsah narušení v jednotlivých jazykových rovinách a byly zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky zabývající se obtížemi a podporou v uplatnění komunikačního záměru. Bakalářskou prací je vyzdvižena důležitost oblasti komunikace osob s jakýmkoli druhem a hloubkou postižení, nutnost jejich potřebu vyjádření akceptovat a adekvátně na ni reagovat, pokud chceme zkvalitnit jejich každodenní prožívání.

Abstract:

The presented dissertation thesis called “Communication skills of pupils with severe disabilities“ concerns the way, how the hard healthy problem interferes in the development of the speech of an individual and how this disability is reflected in the ability of communication. There is given a description of possibilities of the logopedic interference in the Czech Republic, its specification for the pupils with heavy mental disability and heavy physical disability and the offer of the education of pupils with severe disabilities focused on the development in the communication. Using the qualitative research there was observed the range of the disturbation in the particular layers of the speech and the research questions concerning the difficulties and the support in the application of the communicative goal were answered. The dissertation thesis point out the importance of the sphere of communication of people with any kind and any depth of the disability, the importance of these people to have their expression accepted and to have answered it, if we wish to improve the quality of their everyday experience.
