The level of knowledge of the first aid volunteer firefighters in the Zlín Region

Abstract:

Teoretická část práce se zabývá poskytování laické první pomoci a legislativou týkající se první pomoci, dobrovolných hasičů a jednotek požární ochrany. V teoretické části jsou popsány typy první pomoci, následně se zabývá prvotními opatřeními a bezpečností na místě události, poté se věnuje problematice tísňového volání. Je zde popsána základní neodkladná resuscitace u všech věkových kategorií, dále pak krvácení, zlomeniny, popáleniny, šok, akutní intoxikace oxidem uhelnatým a problematika transportu a manipulace s raněnými. Ke každému tématu je uvedena odpovídající první pomoc. Je zde vysvětlen vztah mezi sbory dobrovolných hasičů a jednotkami sborů dobrovolných hasičů. Praktická část se věnuje hodnocení dotazníkového šetření a objasňuje, jakým způsobem jsou dobrovolní hasiči proškolováni v první pomoci. Dále popisuje návrh školení v laické první pomoci. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplývá, že úroveň znalosti laické první pomoci u dobrovolných hasičů, kteří byli zařazeni do mého výzkumu, není vyhovující, avšak není to zapříčiněno nedostatkem možností proškolení v kurzech první pomoci, ale spíše malou informovaností dobrovolných hasičů o těchto školeních a také časovou náročností a kapacitním nedostatkem těchto školení. Také zde hraje roli přístup samotných dobrovolných hasičů k dané problematice. Statisticky významná spojitost byla prokázána mezi dosaženým vzděláním a úrovní znalostí laické první pomoci. Dále bylo částečně potvrzeno, že mezi kategoriemi jednotek požární ochrany existují statisticky významné rozdíly v úrovni znalosti první pomoci, takto se prokázal statisticky významný rozdíl pouze mezi skupinami JPO V a JPO II.

Abstract:

The theoretical part deals with the provision of general first aid and legislation relating to first aid, volunteer firefighters and fire prevention units. The theoretical part describes the types of first aid, then it deals with primary measures and safety at the site of the event, then focuses on the issue of emergency calls. There is also described basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation for all ages, as well as bleeding, fractures, burns, shock, acute carbon monoxide intoxication and problems of transport and handling with the wounded. For each topic is given appropriate first aid. It explained the relationship between the voluntary fire brigade units and volunteer fire brigades. The practical part is devoted to evaluation questionnaires and explains how the volunteer firefighters training on first aid. It also describes the proposal of training in general first aid. The research results show that the level of knowledge general first aid for volunteer firefighters who were assigned to my research, is not satisfactory, but it is not due to the lack of options in training courses, first aid, but rather little awareness of volunteer firefighters of these sessions, and also time consuming and the lack of capacity of the training. Also plays the role of volunteer firefighters themselves approach to the issue. A statistically significant association was demonstrated between educational attainment and the level of knowledge of general first aid. It was also partially confirmed that the categories of fire brigade units there were statistically significant differences in the level of first aid knowledge, thus it demonstrated a statistically significant difference between the groups only in the JPO V and JPO II.
