The development of coordination of the European Agenda in the Czech republic

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá vývojem koordinace evropské agendy v ČR od poloviny 90. let 20. století do konce roku 2011. Hlavním cílem práce je prozkoumat, jak byla tato koordinace na národní úrovni zajišťována a jakým způsobem se v průběhu času měnila. Sledována je tedy především kontinuita koordinace euroagendy, a to nejen v období před a po vstupu ČR do EU, ale také v době předsednictví ČR v Radě EU. V neposlední řadě jsou proměny českého koordinačního systému evropské agendy sledovány v kontextu měnících se vlád ČR a model koordinace zavedený v ČR je porovnáván s ostatními členskými státy EU.

Abstract:

Thesis deals with the development of coordination of the European Agenda in the Czech Republic since middle of the 90s of the 20th century until 2011. The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine how has the coordination been organized and how it has changed during the time. Therefore continuity of the coordination is observed in the periods of pre-accession, after the accession of the Czech Republic to the EU and also during the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU. At the end changes in the coordination are examined in context of different governments in the Czech Republic. Czech coordination system is also compared with other EU member states models.
