Ronald Reagan's policy of "outgunning the USSR"
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá historickým kontextem a Reaganovou politikou v oblasti modernizace ozbrojených sil, vyjednávání o omezení zbrojení a Reaganovou doktrínou. Tyto politiky vyhodnocuje a analyzuje jejich vliv na mezinárodní bezpečnost a stabilitu v období Studené války a po jejím skončení.
Abstract:
This thesis examines the historical context and Reagan´s policies on modernization of the armed forces, arms limitation negotiations, and the Reagan Doctrine. It evaluates these policies and analyzes their impact on international security and stability during and after the Cold War.
