V posledních letech je koroze speleotém v Moravském krasu stále více diskutované téma. Nejvíce jsou postižené tenké záclonovité útvary a drobné stalaktity – brčka. Abstract:
Corrosion of speleotems in the Moravian Karst is a more and more discussed theme of recent years. Flimsy curtain-shaped units and diminutive stalactites - straw stalactites - are the most afflicted. This unfavourable effect is ascribed to the condensation corrosion, whose irrevocable consequence is a gradual destruction of speleotems.
