Abstract:

Jako svou bakalářskou práci jsem se rozhodla vytvořit objekt v podobě staré rozpadající se zdi z ručního papíru, skrz kterou jsou rozvedené měděné trubky s vodou, jež zeď postupně během instalace ještě víc naruší. Objekt zároveň složením z vrstev reflektuje knihu, její stránky, zásah člověka, jeho stopy. Staré tovární okno ve středu zdi a již použité trubky zase ukazují projevy času a odložení člověkem, když už neslouží dostatečně. Práce je doplněná o knihu fungující jako jakýsi vzorník druhů a barev ručního papíru, který byl na objekt použit, zároveň jsou stránky doplněné o ražbu slov přibližujících zpracovávané téma. Kniha je uložena ve zdi, jako v pouzdru a stává se tak její součástí, stejně tak jako lidé často schovávali a ukládali předměty do zdí budov. Ráda bych proces rozkladu dokončila tím, že objekt napřímo vystavím vlivům v přírodě a zeď nechám rozložit úplně, čímž zvolené téma ještě více zdůrazním.

Abstract:

As my bachelor's thesis, I decided to create an object in the form of an old crumbling wall made of handmade paper, through which a copper pipe with water is laid, which gradually distorts the wall even more during the installation. At the same time, the object, by being composed of layers, reflects the book, its pages, human intervention, and its traces. The old factory window in the middle of the wall and the already used pipes show the manifestations of time and human postponement when they no longer serve a sufficient purpose. The work is complemented by a book that functions as a kind of sampler of the types and colors of handmade paper that was used for the object, while the pages are supplemented with hot stamped words that approximate the topic being worked on. The book is stored in the wall, like in a case, so it becomes a part of it, just as people often hide and stored objects in the walls of buildings. I would like to complete the process of destruction by directly exposing the object to the effects of nature and letting the wall decompose completely, thereby emphasizing the chosen topic even more.
