Abstract:

Bakalářská práce představuje pomocí cestopisných reportáží několik míst Indie. Reportáže reflektují zejména environmentální problémy země, které se promítají do života běžných obyvatel. Výsledné texty tedy nejsou pouhými popisy cest, ale zprostředkovávají atmosféru Indie jako země, která trpí znečištěním ovzduší, znečištěním řek, chudobou i přelidněním. Mezi reportážemi jsou ale i texty, které naopak představují Indy jako lidi se vztahem k přírodě, díky němuž by mohli s oněmi environmentálními problémy bojovat. Kontextuální část se nezabývá pouze cestopisnou reportáží, ale i studiu environmentálních problémů, s kterými se Indie potýká. Součástí práce je i vymezení cestopisné reportáže jako žánru v dnešních médiích. Tato část práce je založena na rozhovorech s editory a šéfredaktory českých cestovatelských časopisů. Autorova závěrečná kritická reflexe zhodnotí tvůrčí postupy při psaní reportáží.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis presents several places in India through travel features. The travel features mainly reflect environmental problems of the country which project themselves to the lives of its common inhabitants. Resulting texts are not only mere descriptions of travels but they also illustrates the atmosphere in India’s which suffers from air and river pollution and from overpopulation and poverty. Among these travel features are also included texts which, on the contrary, present Indians as people with strong relationship to the nature. Thanks to this relationship, Indians could be able to fight these environmental problems in the future. Contextual part of this work is not only focused on a travel feature but it also studies the environmental problems of India. Part of this bachelor’s thesis is dedicated to a definition of a travel feature as a genre in contemporary media. This part is based on interviews with editors and editors-in-chief of Czech travel magazines. Author’s concluding critical reflection will evaluate creative approaches of reportage writing.
