Philosophy and history in the novel by Zofia Kossak "Deianira´s Shirt "

Abstract:

The topic of this work is the analysis of the historical novel, The Dress of Dejanira, from the well-known Polish Christian author Zofia Kossak, in the context of the historical and philosophical motifs present in them. The first section contains information on the life and work of the writer. The second section deals with the analysis of individual historical events, characterisation of the characters and an examination of the philosophical themes in terms of Christian teachings. The final section of the work highlights the aims and messages of the novel associated with the author's vision of the world.

Abstract:

Tematem pracy jest analiza powieści historycznej, Suknia Dejaniry, znanej polskiej chrześcijańskiej autorki Zofii Kossak, w kontekście występujących w nich motywów historycznych i filozoficznych. W pierwszym oddziale są informacje z życia i twórczości pisarki. Drugi rozdział zajmuje się analizą poszczególnych wydarzeń historycznych, charakterystyką postaci i badaniem wątków filozoficznych w zakresie nauk chrześcijańskich. Ostatnia część pracy zwraca uwagę na cele i przesłanie powieści kojarzone z wizją świata autorki.
