Ethical issues of a set of reports published in Břeclavský deník in the terms of consequentialism

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis discusses the ethical issues of series of reports dealing affair „Peter z Břeclavy“ published in Břeclavský deník. It is divided into three parts-the theoretical, practical and reflexive. In the theoretical part the author presents basic information about utilitarian ethics, journalism ethics and editing. An integral part of the work is also outlines image Roma in the media. The output of the practical part is edited articles that are in line with ethics. An important part of the work is also the approach and explanation of any intervention in these texts.

Abstract:

Táto bakalárska práca pojednáva o etických problémoch súboru správ venovaných kauze „Petra z Břeclavy“ publikovaných v Břeclavskom deníku. Je rozdelená do troch častí- teoretickej, praktickej a reflexívnej. V teoretickej časti autorka približuje základné poznatky o etike konzekvencializmu, žurnalistickej etike a redigovaniu textov. Neoddeliteľnou súčasťou práce je tiež načrtnutie problematiky zobrazovania Rómov v médiách. Výstupom praktickej časti sú editované články, ktoré sú v súlade s etikou. Dôležitou súčasťou práce je i priblíženie a vysvetlenie každého zásahu do týchto textov.
