Adolescents and alcohol

Abstract:

Alkohol v České republice zastává roli určité tradice a jeho konzumace není žádnou výjimkou ani mezi mladou generací. Právě kvůli tradičnosti pití alkoholu u nás nedochází k žádné významné regulaci, a tím se k alkoholu dostávají stále mladší a mladší uživatelé. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá právě konzumací alkoholu mezi mladou generací, jejich zkušenostmi s alkoholem a postojem k alkoholu, možnou prevencí v rodinném i školním prostředí. Konzumace u mladistvých je aktuální téma, kterému se i v České republice věnuje spousta odborníků a je velice diskutované. Zároveň je to ale tématem celosvětovým, kdy také Česká republika je zapojena do několika významných studií, jako je například ESPAD. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretické a výzkumné. Teoretická část je věnována pohledu na alkoholismus, mladistvé a prevenci, která je v tomto ohledu velice důležitá. Empirická část je prováděna pomocí online dotazníku určeného pro věkovou skupinu čtrnáctiletých až sedmnáctiletých dospívajících. V závěru práce jsou zveřejněny výsledky a diskuse. Cílem práce je poukázat na dnešní stav v této oblasti a možnosti prevence v rámci rodiny a školy.

Abstract:

Alcohol in the Czech Republic stands for a certain tradition and its consumption among the young generation is no exception. Especially because of the traditional approach to drinking alcohol, there is no significant regulation in our country, and thus alcohol users are younger and younger. This bachelor thesis deals with the consumption of alcohol among the young generation, their experience with alcohol and attitude towards alcohol consupmtion and possible prevention in family and school environment. Consumption in adolescence is a current topic, which is also addressed by many experts in the Czech Republic and is widely discussed. At the same time, however, it is a global topic, with the Czech Republic being involved in several important studies, such as ESPAD. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and research. The theoretical part is devoted to the view of alcoholism, adolescents and prevention, which is very important in this regard. The research part is performed using an online questionnaire designed for adolescents in the age group of fourteen to seventeen. At the end of the work, the results and discussion are published. The aim of the work is to point out the current situation in this area and the possibilities of prevention within the family and school.
