Práce se zabývá původními kreslenými filmy studia Walt Disney Studios (Popelka, Šípková Růženka a Kráska a zvíře) a jejich hranými remaky, které vznikly v posledním desetiletí. Obě verze každého příběhu jsou v jednotlivých kapitolách srovnávány a nejvíce pozornosti je věnováno posílení pozice ženských postav v jednotlivých příbězích a změnám v archetypálních rolích mužů a žen. Abstract:
This thesis examines the original animated films produced by the Walt Disney Studios (Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Beauty and the Beast) and their remakes that were produced in the last decade. Both versions of the same narrative are compared and contrasted in the individual chapters.
