Therapy in children with ADHD

Abstract:

Pro moji bakalářskou práci jsem zvolila téma: ,,Terapie u dětí s ADHD" Teoretická část práce shrnuje terminologii, historii, etiologii a legislativu syndromu ADHD. Přirozený vývoj dítěte a vývoj dítěte s ADHD. Součástí práce jsou tři zahraniční studie zabývající se výzkumem kognitivní, afektivní a motivační regulace v souvislosti s příznaky ADHD a vlivem alternativních forem terapií. Závěr praktické části práce, se zabývá formami terapie při léčbě hyperaktivní poruchy, vhodnost terapie podle subtypu syndromu, nejčastěji užívanou farmakoterapií, rodičovským poradenstvím, možnostmi rodinné a skupinové terapie, terapií kognitivně-behaviorální a pomocnými terapeutickými metodami. Obsahem praktické části jsou kazuistiky čtyř dětí zahrnující věk dítěte, rodinou a osobní anamnézu a popis odborného vyšetření. Každá kazuistika je ukončena stručným shrnutím a doporučením dalšího postupu v práci s dítětem.

Abstract:

For my bachelor thesis, I have chosen the topic: "Therapy for children with ADHD". Theoretical part summarizes terminology, history, etiology and legislative of the ADHD syndrome, and the natural children development and the development of children with ADHD. Four foreign case studies dealing with cognitive, affective and motivational adjustment in connection with ADHD symptoms and the influence of alternative forms of therapy are included as a part of the thesis. Conclusion of practical part then deals with forms of therapy to cure hyperactive disability, suitability of a therapy according to a subtype of the syndrome, most frequently used pharmacotherapy, parental consulting, possibilities of a family and group therapy, cognitive-behavioural therapy and auxiliary therapy methods. Practical part also includescase interpretation of four young children, their families and personal anamneses and description of professional diagnoses. Each case interpretation ends with brief summary and recommendation of future treatment.
