Cílem této práce je porovnat tvorbu Reného Magritta a Davida Lynche, prozkoumat podobu, kterou umělci mají a zjistit, jestli René Magritte měl na Lynche vliv. Práce se zabývá nejen vizuální podobou, ale i myšlenkovou, jak je, na příklad, použití všeobecných věci v surrealistickém prostředí, a podobné archetypy. Abstract:
Objective of this thesis is to compare the art of René Magritte and David Lynch, to study their similarities and to understand whether there was any influence from René Magritte on David Lynch. Thesis looks both into visual similarities and ideology (for example, they both use simple things in surrealistic environment), and similar archetypes as well.
