The city with it´s interrelations of the social and spatial inequalities

Abstract:

V této diplomové práci se zabývám sociálně-prostorovými nerovnostmi u seniorů ve městě Opava. Cílem práce je zhodnotit vnitřní sociálně-prostorovou strukturu sledovaného města. Práce je rozdělena do několika dílčích částí. V první části se zabývám samotným definováním sociálně-prostorových nerovností. Další část je věnována seniorům a tomu, kde všude se u nich může sociálně-prostorová nerovnost projevit, a to především z hlediska bydlení a poskytovaných služeb. Třetí část jsem uchopila jako shrnutí předešlých kapitol. Čtvrtá část práce je zaměřená na sociálně-prostorové nerovnosti seniorů v rámci města Opavy, kde popisuji možnosti bydlení seniorů a poskytovaných služeb v rámci prostorového rozmístění ve městě Opava. Empirická část práce popisuje kvantitativní výzkum provedený ve městě Opava. Pomocí dotazníků, které jsem rozdala seniorům využívajícím určitou službu, jsem získala informace týkající se tématu této práce.

Abstract:

In this thesis, I deal with the socio-spatial inequalities among seniors in city of Opava. The target is to evaluate the internal socio-spatial structure of monitored city. The work is divided into several sub-parts. The first part deals with the very definition of socio-spatial inequalities. Another section is devoted to seniors and to where everywhere they can socio-spatial inequalities occur, especially in terms of housing and services. Third part, I took as a summary of the previous chapters. The fourth part is focused on the socio-spatial inequalities of seniors in the city of Opava, where I describe senior housing options and services within spatial distribution in Opava. The empirical part describes the quantitative research conducted in Opava. Using questionnaires, which I gave to seniors using a special kind of service, I received information about the topic of this work.
