Synthesis of metallic nanoparticles

Abstract:

In this thesis, I deal with synthesis of monometallic nanoparticles of platinum, gold and nickel by both solvothermal synthesis and reduction method using NaBH4. Theoretical part includes search on this topic and includes basic informations about synthesis methods and characterisation methods of nanoparticles. Experimental part is focussed on synthesis, which were done by me in the laboratory for the purpose of verification, which method is more effective and useful. The metal nanoparticles have been studied by electron microscopy, spectrophotometry and by dynamic light scattering method. The aim of my bachelor thesis was to verify the possibilities of both methods for the preparation of homogeneous and stable nanoparticles.

Abstract:

V této bakalářské práci se věnuji syntéze monometalických nanočástic platiny, zlata a niklu solvotermální metodou a metodou pomocí NaBH4. Teoretická část obsahuje rešerši daného tématu, popis vybraných syntetických metod, charakterizaci nanočástic. Experimentální část obsahuje výsledky mých syntéz, které byly provedené v laboratoři za účelem ověření, která z těchto dvou metod je účinnější a výhodnější. Připravené nanočástice kovů byly zkoumané elektronovou mikroskopií, spektofotometricky a metodou dynamického rozptylu světla. Cílem mé bakalářské práce bylo ověřit možnosti obou metod při přípravu homogenních a stabilních nanočástic.
