The relation of Czech IT companies to the information verification

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá vztahem k ověřování informací v rámci českých IT firem. Hlavním cílem této bakalářské práce je zjistit jakým způsobem IT firmy ověřují informace a jak pravidelně. Následně jaké mají povědomí o informačních zdrojích, kde se dají informace o firmách nalézt. V teoretické části se práce věnuje definici a kategorizacím IT firem a vymezuje pojem outsourcing, následně jsou představeny informace ve firmách a jejich rozdělení. V poslední části teorie je vymezen pojem informační chování a competitive intelligence. Celou teoretickou část zakončuje seznam informačních zdrojů dostupných na internetu v České republice, které jsou užitečné při hledání informací o firmách. Praktická část byla provedena jako kvalitativní výzkum s použitím polostrukturovaného rozhovoru, který dopomohl ke zmapování vztahu českých IT firem k ověřování informací.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the relationship to the verification of information within Czech IT companies. The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out how IT companies verify information and how frequently. Subsequently, it also asks how aware IT companies are of information sources, where information about companies can be found. The theoretical section deals with the definition and categorization of IT companies and defines the concept of outsourcing. In same part are introduced information in companies and their division. The last part of the theory defines the concept of information behaviour and competitive intelligence. The theoretical part is concluded with a list of information sources available on the internet in the Czech Republic, which are useful in finding information about companies. The practical part was performed as qualitative research using a semi-structured interview, which helped to map the relationship of Czech IT companies to information verification.
