Design of new conception packaging for butter

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce s názvem "Design nové koncepce balení másla" se zabývá související teorií jako jsou význam másla ve výživě, jeho historie, průmyslová výroba másla, ale také nesmím opomenout polygrafický průmysl zaměřený na obalový průmysl. Což znamená obaly jako takové, jejich historie, současnost, funkce, ale i tiskové techniky. Zmíním se i o {\clq}"obalech budoucnosti", jak by měly vypadat, a co to vlastně znamená {\clq}"biologicky odbouratelné obaly, inteligentní a aktivní obaly". V praktické části provádím analýzu výrobkové řady másel. Zaměřím se na rozdíl mezi máslem a margarínem. Ukáži, že redesign obalu není jen změna, ale že je třeba se na změnu stávajícího obalu podívat jak ze strany interní (brand manažera, vlastníka firmy), tak ze strany externí (spotřebitele). Poněvadž v této práci provádím design nové koncepce obalu, musím provést marketingový průzkum, jehož součástí je definování problému, dotazník a jeho vyhodnocení a provedení grafických znázornění. Analyzuji současný stav obalů na másla, jejich technickou specifikaci, přednosti a nedostatky těchto obalů. V projektové části dávám své myšlence konkrétní tvar, podobu. Uvádím zde své prvotní myšlenky, různá řešení tvaru, materiálu, hledání vlastní formy, která by vyhovovala jak spotřebitelům, tak i požadavkům stanovenými zákonnými předpisy. V neposlední řadě se zabývám povrchově koncepcí, která může napomoci pohlédnout na dané téma z jiné strany.

Abstract:

The thesis named "Design of new conception packaging for butter" dwells both on connected theory of butter{\crq}s function within nutrition, history, industrial production and on printing industry focused on packaging issues. It means proper covers, their history, present, functions and also printing techniques. Also "future covers" are mentioned, what their appearance should be, what we mean when we talk about "biological degraded covers, intelligent and active covers". Practical part of thesis consists of analysis of butter products range. I focus on difference between butter and margarine. I show that cover redesign is not only simple change. We have to look at the change from internal point if view (brand manager, owner of company) and from external one as well (customer). Because I work on design of new concept packaging, I start with marketing survey. It consists of problem definition, questionnare and its evauation and also graphic outputs. I analyze current status of butter covers, their technical specification, strengths and weaknesses of these covers. My ideas get concrete shape in project part of the thesis. I show my initial ideas, different solutions of shapes, raw materials. I look for my own form, which would suit both customers and legal demands. I also partly concern with concept of looking at problem from other side.
