Structure, content and function of the elementary school teachers from the teachers' point of view

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá teorií učebnic, jejich komponenty a funkcemi, které může naplňovat, ale také přibližuje proces schvalování a výběru učebnic. S ohledem na téma práce je pozornost věnována specifickému typu učebnic - čítankám. Práce představuje kritéria kladená na čítanky, rovněž uvádí seznam současných čítankových řad na českém knižním trhu. Následně poskytuje vhled do vybraných čítankových řad prostřednictvím analýzy. Stěžejní částí diplomové práce je výzkumná část realizována metodou řízeného rozhovoru. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, jaké faktory ovlivňují výběr učebnic na konkrétních školách, jak pedagogové čítanky využívají a jaký názor k čítankám, se kterými pracují, zaujímají.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the theory of textbooks, their components, and functions that can be fulfilled but it also describes the process of approving and selecting textbooks. With regard to the topic of the thesis, attention is paid to the specific type of textbooks - reading books. The thesis introduces criteria for reading books, also lists contemporary reading books on the Czech book market. Subsequently, it provides insight into selected reading book series using analysis. The main part of the thesis is the research part done by the method of controlled interview. The aim of the research was to find out what factors influence the choice of textbooks in particular schools, how the readers use them and what is their opinion on the reader books they work with is.
