The objective of the thesis is a comparsion of position of the banking company Česká spořitelna, a.s. within the banking group Erste Bank. Cílem této práce je tedy srovnání pozice bankovní společnosti Česká spořitelna, a.s. v rámci bankovní skupiny Erste Bank. V teoretické části si beru za cíl představit situaci a vývoj bankovního systému v České republice a v Rakousku a zároveň prezentovat jejich centrální banky.
