The aim of this thesis is to achieve a consistent analysis of the key factors affecting the evolution of prices of selected commodities during financial crisis. Cieľom práce je vykonať dôslednú analýzu kľúčových faktorov vplývajúcich na vývoj cien vybraných komodít počas finančnej krízy. Prvá kapitola ozrejmí všeobecne teoretické vymedzenie pojmov problematiky komoditné trhy. Druhá kapitola predstaví najvýznamnejšie svetové komoditné centrá a ich historické pôsobenie.
