Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je studium a analýza řízení IT projektů a využití datové analytiky v IT projektech. V rámci výzkumu autorka zkoumá proces implementace IT projektů ve farmaceutické společnosti, která je předmětem případové studie, s využitím přístupu založeného na riziku ve tvaru písmene V pro vývoj softwaru. Studie popisuje využití analytického nástroje při sledování IT projektů. Výzkumná práce zahrnuje identifikaci a analýzu primárních regulatorních požadavků, norem a postupů souvisejících s vývojem a provozem softwaru v regulatorním prostředí, zejména ve farmaceutickém průmyslu. Výzkumná práce zahrnuje identifikaci a analýzu běžných problémů a příležitostí v oblasti řízení IT projektů. Dále práce zahrnuje analýzu různých přístupů (Waterfall a Agile) k řízení IT projektů a přehled jejich hlavních výhod a nevýhod. Studie dospěla k závěru, že zavedení datové analytiky může významně zlepšit procesy řízení projektů a zvýšit úspěšnost projektů.

Abstract:

The aim of the master thesis is to study and analyze IT project management and the use of data analytics in IT projects. In the research, the author studies the process of IT projects implementation in the pharmaceutical case study company, using a risk-based V-shaped approach for software development. The study describes the use of analytical tool in IT project monitoring. Research work includes the identification and analysis of primary regulatory requirements, standards, and practices related to the development and operation of software in the regulatory environment, in particular in the pharmaceutical industry. The research encompasses identification and analysis of common IT project management challenges and opportunities. Further, the thesis includes the analysis of different approaches (Waterfall and Agile) for IT project management, and overview of their main advantages and disadvantages. The study concluded that the introduction of data analytics can significantly enhance the project management processes and improve project success rate.
