Historical and autobibliographical features in the novel La casa in collina by Cesare Pavese

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the analysis of the novel The house on the hill, highlighting the historical and autobiographical elements. It approaches the period of the Second World War in the city of Turin and in its surrounding countryside, which became the only secure place for people during the bombing, including the main character, Corrado, alter-ego of the writer.

Bakalárska diplomová práca sa zaoberá analýzou diela Dom na kopci, pričom poukazuje na historické a autobiografické prvky. Približuje obdobie druhej svetovej vojny v meste Turín a v jeho okolitej prírode, ktorá sa stáva útočiskom pre ľudí počas bombardovania, vrátane hlavnej postavy, Corrada, alter-ega samotného autora.
