Sustainable business development

Abstract:

Tématem předložené diplomové práce je koncept Trvale udržitelný rozvoj v podnikání. Hlavním cílem této práce je na základě provedeného výzkumu představit koncept a jeho implementaci do podnikatelské sféry včetně jeho měření a reportingu. První kapitola je zaměřena na specifikaci výzkumu, jeho metodiky a vybraných výzkumných nástrojů. Druhá kapitola se zabývá teoretickými východisky a ukotvením konceptu od historického vývoje až po současnost včetně uvedení trendů do budoucna. Zároveň poskytuje postup a argumenty ohledně implementace udržitelnosti do podnikání. Problematika udržitelnosti souvisí s měřením, monitoringem a vyhodnocováním, proto byly představeny v následující kapitole nástroje a standardy týkající se měření a reportingu výše zmíněného trendu. V rámci praktické části byly představeny vybrané podnikatelské subjekty a projekty, které již zahrnuly trend udržitelnosti do běžné praxe. Dále byla provedena realizace výzkumu prostřednictvím vybraných výzkumných metod a následně analýza oblastí v rámci koncernu DAIMLER, ve kterých byl trend udržitelnosti implementován. Zjištěné poznatky byly využity pro návrh možné realizace trendu do podniku EvoBus Česká republika s.r.o., která je dceřinou společností koncernu.

Abstract:

The topic of this presented diploma thesis is a concept Sustainable business development. The main objective of this work is, based on the research realized, to introduce the concept and its implementation into the business sphere including measurement and reporting. The first chapter focuses on the specification of research, its methodology and selected research tools. The second chapter deals with the theoretical background and anchoring the concept from historical development to the present including trends in the future. Concurrently it provides the process and arguments for implementation enterprise sustainability. The problematics of sustainability is related to measurement, monitoring and evaluation, therefore the tools and standards related to measurement and reporting of the above mentioned trend were presented in the next chapter. Within the practical part, selected business entities and projects have already been introduced, which have already included the sustainability trend into the usual practice. Futher the research was carried out through selected research methods and the analysis of areas within the DAIMLER concern, in which the sustainability trend was implemented. The findings were used to design a possible realization of the trend in EvoBus Czech Republic s.r.o., which is a subsidiary of the concern.
