Fulfilling the needs of family caregivers

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je zjištění potřeb pečujících z řad rodiny a jejich uspokojování na základě subjektivního hodnocení respondentek. Teoretická část je věnována poznatkům z relevantní odborné literatury. Podrobněji zmiňuje potřeby a kvalitu života jak je vidí uvedení autoři. Metodologická část popisuje použití kvalitativní výzkumné strategie, metodu sběru dat pomocí techniky polostrukturovaného rozhovoru. Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to find out the needs of family caregivers and their fulfilling based on the responders’ subjective evaluation. The theoretical part is dedicated to scientific findings in relevant specialized literature. The part mentions the needs and the quality of life from the view point of cited authors. The methodological part describes the use of qualitative research strategy, the method of data collection utilising the semistructured interview technique. The technique of intentional selection was used for the choosing of a representative sample. The empirical part presents individual research findings and recommendations for practice based on the findings.
