Clothing as a sign of subcultures of the 1980s: methodical sheets for an art education

Abstract:

Magisterská diplomová práce je věnována tématu odívaní subkultur 80. let 20. století v kontextu vyučovacího předmětu výtvarná výchova. Cílem práce je navrhnout soubor metodických listů, jenž přiblíží žákům jak problematiku subkultur, tak i význam oděvu, pomocí kterého lze okolí sdělovat své postoje, názory a ideologie. Práce se tak stává příspěvkem do okruhu metodických listů k vyučování výtvarné výchovy na základních školách a gymnáziích. V teoretické části se práce zabývá subkulturami 80. let a jejich vyjádřením prostřednictvím oděvu. Oděv je zde chápán jako jedna z možností nonverbální komunikace a způsob vymezení se vůči okolí. V praktické části jsou ukázkové metodické listy k lekcím včetně výkladu, samostatných aktivit pro žáky a příloh tak, aby bylo možné je v případě zájmu realizovat.

Abstract:

Focus of this master diploma thesis is area of clothing of subcultures of the 1980s put into the context of art education. The aim of the thesis is to propose a set of methodical sheets that will introduce to students the issue of subcultures, as well as the meaning of clothing, through which we can communicate our attitudes, opinions and ideologies. The work thus becomes a contribution to the methodical sheets for an art education at primary schools and grammar schools. In the theoretical part, the work deals with the subcultures of the 1980s and their expression through clothing. The clothing is seen here as one of the possibilities of non-verbal communication and a way of defining itself against the surroundings. In the practical part are sample methodical sheets for lessons, including explanations, activities for students and supplements so that they can be realized in case of interest.
