Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce má za cíl analyzovat zájem o české středověké legendy v učebnicích literatury pro střední školy. Největší důraz je kladen na legendy cyrilometodějské, svatováclavské, ludmilské, vojtěšské, prokopské a o sv. Anežce. Pozornost je věnována i dalším populárním středověkým legendám, jako je např. Život sv. Kateřiny či Legenda aurea. Součástí je i teoretická část objasňující a přibližující legendistiku, její historii v českých zemích a kult svatých. Hlavní část je věnována reflexi zájmu o legendy v učebnicích literatury a v čítankách pro střední školy. V práci je kladen důraz zejména na sledování rozdílného rozsahu věnovanému legendám v učebnicích v různých desetiletích 20. století a v různých vládních režimech.

Abstract:

The submitted diploma thesis aims to analyze the interest in Czech medieval legends in textbooks of literature for secondary schools. The greatest emphasis is placed on the legends of Cyril and Methodius, St. Wenceslas, St. Ludmila, St. Adalbert, St. Prokop and St. Agnes. But the work also pays attention to other popular medieval legends, such as the Life of St. Catherine or Legenda aurea. It also includes a theoretical part elucidating and introducing hagiography, its history in the Czech lands and the cult of saints. The main part is about the reflection of interest in legends in textbooks of literature and reading books for secondary schools. Emphasis is placed on the differences in the space devoted to legends in textbooks in different decades of 20th century and in different government regimes.
