Cílem této práce je teoreticky popsat různé matematické metody konstrukce burzovních indexů, zhodnotit silné a slabé stránky jednotlivých přístupů a na závěr dát doporučení, kdy kterou metodu použít. Zvláštní důraz kladu na metody konstrukce indexů v České republice a jí blízkých zemích. Abstract:
The goal of this thesis is to describe different mathematical methods of construction stock market indices, to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of particular approaches and to give the recommendation which of these methods is suitable to use at last.
