Reward and punishment in child care.

Abstract:

Ve své diplomové práci jsem se zaměřila na jedny z nejčastěji používaných prostředků výchovy a to na odměny a tresty. Na danou problematiku jsem nahlížela z pohledu dětí. Dále jsem věnovala pozornost správnému užívání trestů a odměn, nejrůznějším výchovným stylům a transgeneračnímu přenosu. Diplomová práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou řešeny odměny a tresty obecně. Jsou vysvětleny hlavní pojmy týkající se dané problematiky, od základní charakteristiky, historie, druhů a rizik spojených s odměnami a tresty až po zásady správného trestání a odměňování. Praktická část je rozdělena na část kazuistik a na část dotazníkového šetření. Cílem diplomové práce bylo zjistit, jaký výchovný styl v rodinách převládá, kdo z rodičů trestá děti častěji, zda matka či otec a jakou zkušenost mají děti na druhém stupni základní školy s odměnami a tresty. Co se jim pod těmito pojmy vybaví.

Abstract:

In my thesis I focused on one of the most commonly used means of education namely rewards and punishments. On the issue I peered from the perspective of children. I´ve also paid attention to the proper use of punishments and rewards, and various educational styles and transgeneration transmission. The thesis is divided into two parts, on the theoretical and practical. The theoretical part dealt with rewards and punishments in general. They explained the main concepts related to the issue, the basic characteristics, history, types and risks associated with rewards and punishments to the principles of proper punishment and reward. The practical part is divided into a section on case reports and a questionnaire survey. The aim of this thesis was to find out what parenting style prevails in families, from parents who punish children more often, whether mother or father, and what experience have children at elementary schools with rewards and punishments. What they think of by these terms.
