Coaching to solve and deal with stressful situations

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is coaching how to solve and deal with stressful situations. The aim of the thesis is to highlight the importance of coaching in providing the skills needed to solve and deal with stressful situations. The thesis also includes how coaching can be applied in areas that are not typically associated with coaching and an explanation as to how the coaching method can help. In modern times, our way of life is hectic and society puts increased demands on us all. In order to deal with changes in life, the demands of times or difficult situations, one begins to look for different ways to manage. Coaching through a variety of methods, including coaching interviews, special questioning and coaching techniques, can help manage and cope with high stress situations. This is achieved by changing mindsets, finding solutions and responding to problems and situations that the client has not yet seen. This thesis is divided into three chapters. The first two chapters are theoretical and cover resolving stressful situations, their management and coaching. The third, empirical chapter, goes over research in this area. In the qualitative research, we try to analyse the opinions and attitudes of coaches on this topic.

Abstract:

Témou diplomovej práce je koučing pri riešení a zvládaní záťažových situácií. Cieľom práce je poukázať na význam koučingu pri riešení a zvládaní záťažových situácií aj v oblastiach, ktoré nie sú typicky spájané s koučingom a popísať, akým spôsobom dokáže metóda koučingu pomôcť pri riešení a zvládaní záťažových situácií. V súčasnej dobe ľudia žijú uponáhľaných spôsobom života a súčasná doba kladie na človeka zvýšené nároky. Na to, aby človek zvládal zmeny v živote, požiadavky doby alebo náročné situácie začína hľadať rôzne spôsoby na ich zvládnutie. Koučing predstavuje metódu, ktorá prostredníctvom koučovacieho rozhovoru, špeciálneho kladenia otázok a koučovacích techník dokáže pomôcť klientom pri zvládaní a riešení záťažových situácií zmenou pohľadu na veci, nájdením riešení a odpovedí na problémy a situácie, ktoré klient doteraz nevidel. Práca je rozdelená do troch kapitol, pričom prvé dve teoretické kapitoly sa venujú záťažovým situáciám, ich zvládaniu a koučingu, a empirická časť sa venuje výskumu koučingu pri riešení a zvládaní záťažových situácií. V kvalitatívnom výskume sa snažíme analyzovať názory a postoje koučov, na to, akým spôsobom dokáže koučing pomáhať pri riešení a zvládaní záťažových situácií.
