The possibilities of the lie detector usage

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem možnosti využití detektoru lži. Teoretická část se věnuje problematice detektoru lži v provozu. Přibližuje jeho historii a popisuje způsoby vyšetření, které má určitý postup a pravidla. Práce dále zkoumá možnosti ovlivnění detektoru lži v průběhu vyšetřování. Cílem této práce je zjistit možnosti využití detektoru lži v různých disciplínách. Praktická část obsahuje dotazníkové šetření, jehož cílem je přiblížit povědomí o použití detektoru lži ve společnosti. Závěr obsahuje souhrn této práce spolu se shrnutím získaných informací.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic based on the possibilities of using the lie detector. The theoretical part focuses on the matter of an operational lie detector. This part defines the methods of investigation which obeys particular process and rules, including a description of the lie detector´s historical evolution. Furthermore, the thesis explores possible ways of an influence of the lie detector during an investigation. The goal of this thesis is to determine the means of using a lie detector in different fields. The practical part contains a questionnaire survey which aims to outline the awareness of using a lie detector in a society. In conclusion the thesis includes a summary of this work.
