Negative effects of the textile industry and its alternatives

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the textile industry and its negative effects. The aim of the work is to determine people's awareness of this problem both in the Czech Republic and in Germany and to find out how people deal with these problems. The theoretical part includes an introduction to the textile industry and the influences that influence consumers when buying clothes. It also deals with selected environmental and worker impacts in this industry. Finally, some alternative solutions are presented that avoid these effects. The practical part includes a questionnaire asking respondents how they act as consumers in the clothing market, how they are aware of the impact of this industry and how ecological they are about this problem.

Abstract:

Die Bachelorarbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema Textilindustrie und ihre negativen Auswirkungen. Das Ziel der Arbeit besteht darin, die Vorstellung der Verbraucher über dieses Problem sowohl in der Tschechischen Republik als auch in Deutschland zu ermitteln und herauszufinden, wie die Menschen mit diesen Problemen umgehen. Der theoretische Teil umfasst eine Einführung in die Problematik der Textilindustrie und eine Zusammenfassung der Einflüsse, denen die Verbraucher beim Kleidungskauf ausgesetzt sind. Es werden bestimmte Auswirkungen der Textilindustrie auf die Umwelt und die Textilarbeiter thematisiert. Abschließend werden einige alternative Lösungen vorgestellt, mit deren Hilfe diese Auswirkungen vermieden werden können. Der praktische Teil umfasst die Auswertung eines Fragebogens, in dem die Teilnehmer gefragt wurden, wie sie sich als Verbraucher auf dem Bekleidungsmarkt verhalten, inwiefern sie sich der Auswirkungen dieser Branche bewusst sind und wie ökologisch sie sich in Bezug auf dieses Problem verhalten.
