The Specifics of the Resocialization effects on mothers with children in prisons

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce představuje výkon trestu odnětí svobody odsouzených žen, konkrétně specifickou skupinu odsouzených matek s dětmi. Cílem bakalářské práce je analyzovat problematiku průběhu resocializace právě této skupiny odsouzených žen. Teoretická část pojednává o vězeňské službě, Věznici Světlá nad Sázavou a problematice zacházení s odsouzenými ženami. Věznice Světlá nad Sázavou je představena dle jednotlivých oddílů a blíže je rozebrán oddíl odsouzených matek vykonávající trest odnětí svobody s dětmi do tří let věku. Empirická část se zabývá výzkumným problémem resocializace specifické skupiny matek s dětmi ve Věznici Světlá nad Sázavou. Pro výzkumné šetření byla využita kvalitativní technika sběru dat standardizovaný rozhovor a kazuistiky odsouzených matek s dětmi do věku tří let dítěte. Výsledky doplňují informace pro odbornou i laickou veřejnost.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis presents the execution of imprisonment of women offenders, namely a specific group of mothers with children. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyse the issue of resocialization of this group. The theoretical part deals with the prison service in Světlá nad Sázavou prison and with the issue of the treatment of women prisoners. Světlá nad Sázavou prison is presented according to individual sections, and the section for mothers in prison serving sentences with their children up to the age of three is analysed in more details. In the empirical part of the thesis the research problem of the resocialization in a group of imprisoned mothers with children in Světlá nad Sázavou prison is presented. Qualitative data collection technique of standardized interview and case studies of the convicted mothers with children up to the age of three was used for the research survey. The results complement existing information for the professional and general public.
