Image of the region as a factor of the regional development, on the example of Šluknov region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce "Image regionu jako faktor rozvoje území na příkladu Šluknovska" popisuje současný image regionu Šluknovska. Teoretická část se zabývá pojmem image, tento pojem je zde vysvětlen, jsou zde uvedeny jeho definice a popsány jsou také znaky image a základní charakteristika tohoto pojmu. Dále se teoretická část věnuje některým dalším faktorům, které souvisí s rozvojem regionu. Část práce se tedy věnuje měkkým a tvrdým faktorům ovlivňujícím image, regionálním marketingem a část teorie je také věnována médiím. V praktické části je představen region Šluknovska. Pro lepší představu o regionu jsou zde uvedeny některé fyzicko-geografické a socioekonomické charakteristiky území Šluknovska. Osmá kapitola se zabývá vnímáním Šluknovska ve vybraných médiích v letech 2013-2015. Články o Šluknovsku byly tříděny do konkrétních témat a dále byly členěny dle vyznění. Tato práce ukazuje, zda se články o sledovaném území v jednotlivých médiích výrazněji lišily či nikoliv a jaký image o zkoumaném území vytvořily.

Abstract:

Bachelor's theses "Image of the region as a factor of the regional development, on the example of Šluknov region" describes a current image of the Šluknov region. The theoretical part deals with the term of image, this term is explained here, definitions of this term are introduced and features and basic characteristics are described. Furthermore the theoretical part is dedicated to some other factors related to regional development. Therefore the part of this theses is devoted to soft and hard factors affecting image, regional marketing and a part of the theory is also dedicated to media. The Šluknov region is introduced in the practical part of theses. Some physiographic and socioeconomic characteristics of the Šluknov territory are introduced for better idea of this region. The eighth chapter is concerned with perception of the Šluknov region in selected media in 2013-2015. Articles about Šluknov region were sorted into specific themes and furthermore they were sorted according to the impression they gave. This theses indicates if articles about monitored area differed widely or not and what image about the Šluknov region they created.
