Abstract:

Tato práce usiluje o iniciativu při tvorbě volitelné podkategorie certifikace pro hotely. To by sloužilo hostům jako rychlý referenční bod toho, co mohou od hotelu očekávat. Hlavním cílem této práce je analyzovat hotely přátelské k dětem v Praze, jejich charakteristiky a poskytované služby. Tři výzkumné otázky jsou: „Které hotely lze kategorizovat jako Baby Friendly? Jakými standardy mohou být kategorizovány jako Baby Friendly? Je možné vytvořit certifikát Baby Friendly ve spolupráci s Hotelstars Union (HSU) nebo Asociací hotelů a restaurací ČR (AHR ČR)? “ Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část, která poskytuje čtenáři základní informace o marketingu a jeho on-line formulářích, o certifikátech a o institucích zaručujících přátelskou péči o dítě v zařízení. Analytická část má dva hlavní sektory. Zaprvé, v Praze jsou představeny vybrané hotely přátelské k dětem. Hotely pocházejí z výběru ubytovacích zařízení, které jsou nebo byly certifikovány společností Baby Friendly Certificate. Tato část je zakončena analýzou obou a hodnocením obou. Druhá část porovnává český certifikát s obdobnými výrobky používanými v zahraničí. Analýza nakonec navrhuje formu spolupráce, která by vedla k dalšímu a uznávanému certifikátu nejen pro české turisty. Zjištění odpovídají výzkumným otázkám a vycházejí z kombinace odborných názorů sdružení a srovnání s podobnou, avšak zavedenější společností, Kinderhotels Europa Group.

Abstract:

This thesis aspires the initiative in creating an optional subcategory of certification for hotels. It would serve to the guests as a fast reference point of what facilities they can expect the hotel to have. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze the baby friendly hotels in the City of Prague, their characteristics and provided services. The three research questions are “Which hotels can be categorized as Baby Friendly? By what standards can they be categorized as Baby-Friendly? Can there be created a Baby Friendly Certificate with the cooperation of Hotelstars Union (HSU) or Association of Hotels and Restaurants of the Czech Republic (AHR ČR)?” The thesis is divided into the theoretical part which provides the reader with the fundamental information about marketing and its online forms, about certificates and about the institutions guaranteeing baby friendliness of an establishment. The analytical part has two main sectors. Firstly, there is the introduction of selected baby friendly hotels in Prague. The hotels come from a selection of lodging facilities which are or have been certified by a company called Baby Friendly Certificate. This part is concluded with an analysis of the two and evaluation of both. The second part compares the Czech certificate with similar products used abroad. The analysis finally proposes a form of cooperation which would lead to a further detailed and respected certificate not only for Czech tourists. The findings answer the research questions and rises a proposition from a combination of professional opinions from associations and of a comparison with a similar, however, more established, company named Kinderhotels Europa Group.
