Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá sektorem dopravy, logistiky a zejména jednotlivými činnostmi zasílatele. Jedná se o projekt reorganizace vnitrostátní distribuce kusových sběrných zásilek přepravovaných mezinárodní spediční firmou Kühne + Nagel, spol. s r.o. v rámci České republiky. Teoretická část diplomové práce se bude zaměřovat na základní terminologii, vysvětlení důležitých pojmů a definice spojené s přepravou. Praktická část bude věnována představení zasílatelské společnosti Kühne + Nagel a její historii. Největší pozornost bude orientována na divizi silničních přeprav. Zde budou uvedeny klíčové finanční ukazatele, zejména hrubý a čistý zisk před zdaněním. Hlavním cílem praktické části je vyhodnocení nového systému distribuce sběrných kusových zásilek. V této části budou dále uvedeny základní údaje o jednotlivých dopravcích, ať už sídlo firmy či jejich ceníky poskytnuté společnosti Kühne + Nagel, spol. s r.o. pro projekt tuzemské distribuce zásilek. Pro dosažení cíle bude nutné shromáždění a analýza cen jednotlivých dodavatelů podílejících se na vnitrostátní distribuci zboží. Na základě zjištěných informací bude uskutečněno porovnání předchozího systému rozvozu zásilek s novým nastavením a následné finanční dopady pro společnost. Toto srovnání bude provedeno nejen na úrovni jednotlivých regionů, ale v rámci celé České republiky. Za úspěch projektu bude považována úspora nákladů při zachování minimálně stejné úrovně kvality nabízených služeb. S plánovanou úsporou nákladů by mělo být dosaženo vyšší konkurenceschopnosti firmy a rozšíření zákaznického portfolia a následné posílení pozice na zasílatelském trhu v České republice.

Abstract:

This master thesis focuses on the areas of transportation, logistics, and especially individual activities of the freight forwarder. It presents a project reorganizing the domestic distribution of groupage shipments transported by the international forwarding company Kühne + Nagel, spol. s r.o., within the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis establishes basic terminology and explains important terms and definitions used in the transport industry. The practical part will then be dedicated to introducing Kühne + Nagel and its history. Greatest attention will be paid to the road transportation division. There, we will detail the company’s key financial indicators, especially gross and net profits before taxes. The primary goal of the practical part is to evaluate the new system for distributing groupage consignments. This part will then be proceeded by introducing basic information about individual carriers, such as their addresses or price lists provided to Kühne + Nagel, spol. s.r.o., for distributing consignments domestically. To achieve the desired goal, it will be necessary to collect and analyse the prices of individual suppliers who distribute goods domestically. Based on the information obtained, the previous system for distributing shipments will be compared to the new one and the financial impacts on the company will be evaluated. This comparison will be carried out not only for individual regions, but also for the Czech Republic as a whole. The project shall be considered a success if it allows money to be saved while at the same time retaining the same level of quality for the services offered. The planned savings should lead to the company’s greater competitive strength and an expansion of its customer portfolio, leading to a stronger position on the Czech market.
