This bachelor thesis is concerned with Chuck Palahniuk's novel Fight Club, which is often regarded as a testimony of Generation X. The theoretical part of the thesis provides a historical and cultural context for the book analysis with an emphasis on masculinity, toxic masculinity and violence.
