The influence of pregnancy, partum and puerperium on psyche of woman

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá v poslední době velmi diskutovaným tématem o vlivu těhotenství, porodu a šestinedělí na psychiku ženy po jejím porodu. V teoretické části práce je popsán průběh těchto jednotlivých období a jsou popsány i poporodní psychické problémy, které se mohou u ženy v jejím poporodním období projevit. Popisujeme je jako velice závažné, protože mohou ženě značně zkomplikovat život. Konkrétně se jedná o poporodní splín, známý též jako baby blues, poporodní depresi a nejzávažnější poporodní psychózu. Tyto psychické problémy trápí mnoho žen na celém světě. Samotné onemocnění se může projevit týden po porodu, nebo i za několik málo měsíců. V posledních kapitolách je nastíněná složitá farmakologická, psychiatrická i alternativní léčba těchto závažných psychických onemocnění. V praktické části práce je formou výzkumné kazuistiky podrobně popsán případ mladé ženy s diagnostikovanou poporodní depresí čtyři měsíce po porodu. Tento případ je popsán od prvních příznaků poporodního splínu, po rozvinutí celkové poporodní deprese, až k samotné léčbě tohoto závažného onemocnění. Závěrem této bakalářské práce je doporučení pro porodní asistentky na oddělení šestinedělí, ale i na předporodních kurzech. V nich především by měly těhotné ženy získávat informace o všech možných nebezpečích poporodního období.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the frequently discussed topic of the influence of pregnancy, partum and puerperium on the psyche of women after they give birth. In the theoretical part of the thesis the process of the individual periods is described and postpartum psychological problems that can show during the postpartum period of woman are described further. They are described as very serious because they can cause complications in women?s life. Specifically, the baby blues, postpartum depression and the most crucial postpartum psychosis. A lot of women all around the world have to fight with these psychological problems. The illness itself can occur a week after giving birth or even in a few months after it. In the last chapters the pharmacological, psychiatric and alternative treatments for these diseases are delineated. In the practical part of the bachelor thesis a case of young women diagnosed with postpartum depression four months after giving birth is described in detail in form of research case study. This particular case is depicted from the first baby blues symptoms and postpartum depression development to the treatment of this serious illness itself. The conclusion of this bachelor thesis is a recommendation for postpartum period department as well as antenatal courses midwives. Antenatal courses are places where pregnant women should get information about all the possible threats of postpartum period.
