Supportive and Limiting Factors in Teacher and Student Interaction

Abstract:

Práce se v teoretické rovině zabývá analýzou vlivu školního prostředí na sociální a emocionální aspekty vývoje dětí. Vychází z teoretických přístupů ke vzdělávání, které zdůrazňují význam integrace životních kvalit dětí do vzdělávacích procesů a poukazuje na klíčovou roli především učitelů jako modelů pozitivního sociálního chování. S důrazem na celostní přístup ke vzdělávání zahrnující nejen školní úspěšnost, ale také osobní blaho a sociální začlenění žáků, usiluje o identifikaci faktorů, které v rámci interakce učitel - žák pozitivně i negativně ovlivňují sociální a emocionální rozvoj žáků. Na základě zjištění, která se týkají žáky subjektivně preferovaného chování učitele, a která do značné míry potvrzují teoretické poznatky, usilujeme o rozvinutí diskuze jak ze strany učitelů efektivně podporovat sociální a emocionální učení žáků a zlepšovat kvalitu života dětí ve školním prostředí, včetně apelu na přínos sociálních pedagogů působících ve školství.

Abstract:

The thesis theoretically deals with the analysis of the influence of the school environment on the social and emotional aspects of children's development. It is based on theoretical approaches to education, which emphasize the importance of integrating children's life qualities into educational processes and highlights the crucial role of teachers as models of positive social behavior. With an emphasis on a holistic approach to education that includes not only academic success but also personal well-being and social inclusion of students, it seeks to identify factors that positively and negatively affect the social and emotional development of students within the teacher-student interaction. Based on findings related to teacher behavior preferred by students, which largely confirm theoretical knowledge, we aim to develop a discussion on how teachers can effectively support social and emotional learning of students and improve the quality of life of children in the school environment, including an appeal to the contribution of social pedagogues working in education.
